My parents took a lot of video of us when we were young and we still pull them out and watch them now and then. I love that they did that. This is a great video. I can't believe he is 1 already!

@desiree, iMovie just comes standard on all macs (i think!). not a part of iPhoto, though. And, it took me a bit to get the hang of it, but once I did, it's a pretty easy program! Elizabeth (etellstales) has a tutorial though at the moment she's changing up her blog so it might not be available!

I love when Lindsay was crying with him in the hospital (that's when I started crying too), the way he was playing behind the glass doors, when he was giggling so hard on the rug with Steve, HIS SWEET FACE THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE THING.

Oh. My. Word. I wasn't even one minute in and I texted my husband to say I want another baby. I love, love, LOVE the pregnancy pics and you guys seeing him for the first time. SO PRECIOUS!
A Mama loves all her kiddos (we have three) but there is nothing quite like your first. I think the hardest thing having two, three, four or however many is knowing you just can't be the same mama you were to the babe before. Your one on one time gets more challenging. That first one though is pure magic.
I know you're a stepmom too. I'm the oldest of nine. Seven of those are kids from my dad and my own stepmom. I know the love is probably different between my stepmom and me than it is from the kiddos she carried in her womb, but it's love just the same. She's always pointed out the similarities between the two of us and is always quick to say how much we have in common. I absolutely adore her. I guess a Mama is a Mama no matter what. Even if the love shared feels differently. It's love just the same. Okay, so I'm not even sure what my point was in saying all of this…promise I'm not crazy. And since I'm being random I may as well say I LOVE YOUR BLOG! There, I feel better now. And no more coffee for me…
